Welcome to Gowanlea Apiaries
and to our own brand of very special New Zealand honey – Gowanlea gold.
We sell to anyone who wants to buy – individuals, retailers or wholesales - in quantities ranging from a single jar to boxes of a dozen or a 300kg drum. We can deliver by courier, post or by the pallet.
We produce about 30 tonnes a year of four varieties of honey; Bush, Creamed Clover, Honey Dew and Manuka. Our Manuka and Creamed Clover honeys are especially popular. With its subtly distinctive taste and well-known healing properties, our Manuka honey is a pure and healthy natural remedy for a variety of ailments. The delicious flavour and smooth texture of our Creamed Clover honey has been recognised by the award of a silver medal at the 2005 Fine Food Fair Great Taste Awards.
